Pedestrian killed in hit-and-run accident in Washington Township, New Jersey – NBC10 Philadelphia

Police in Washington Township, New Jersey are investigating after a man was struck and killed in a hit-and-run accident on the night of Monday, November 4, 2024.

According to police, the incident occurred on Monday, November 4, 2024, at approximately 8 p.m. when a man was struck by an unknown vehicle while walking south on Fries Mill Road between the Riggins gas station and Watson Drive .

Officials said first responders on scene transported the victim to a nearby hospital where he was interviewed.

Police initially did not provide any further information about the vehicle allegedly involved or provide any information about the identity of the man killed in this incident.

But according to officials, the road there was closed for about two hours on Monday evening after the accident.

According to police, the investigation into this crash is still ongoing.
