Man flees police in Glasgow, faces drug and resisting charges

GLASGOW, Ky. – A man is on the run from police on drug charges.

Major Terry Flatt, Glasgow police public information officer, said the department responded to a suspicious person complaint at McGraw Avenue on Monday.

At the scene, officers located 30-year-old Devan Howard. Flatt says Howard resisted arrest and tried to flee from officers.

Flatt says officers arrested Howard and found marijuana, methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia in his possession.

Howard is charged with Resisting Arrest, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, 1st Degree Possession of a Controlled Substance 2nd Offense (Methamphetamine), and Possession of Marijuana.

Howard is housed in the Barren County Detention Center.
