One was injured after a crash in Saginaw County

MAPLE GROVE TWP, Mich. (WNEM) – The Saginaw County Sheriff’s Office reported an accident that occurred around 8 a.m. Tuesday morning, November 5th. A two-car collision occurred near Pete Road. and Gasper Rd. in Maple Grove Twp.

The Saginaw County Sheriff’s Office said a Chevrolet Impala was traveling south on Gasper and failed to stop at the sign on Pete Road. He crashed into a Chrysler Town and Country van that was traveling west on Pete Road.

The Saginaw County Sheriff’s Office responded that the van struck the driver’s side of the Impala. The Impala was driven by a 45 year old local (tell where he is from). The van was driven by a 60-year-old woman, with a three-year-old and a one-year-old boy sitting in the back seats.

According to police, the driver of the Impala suffered a fractured left leg and the driver of the van appeared to be uninjured but went to the hospital for evaluation. According to the Saginaw County Sheriff’s Office, the two children were uninjured and were released to their father, who responded to the scene
