Polls are now open in the Bronx. Here’s what to expect when you cast your vote.

Polls are now open across New York City, giving Bronx residents a chance to make their voices heard in this year’s presidential election.

You may encounter extra security at polling locations as the race is close and emotions are running high. The FBI in New York City says it is tightening security measures and setting up an emergency command post to assess any threats. Mayor Eric Adams says there will be two police officers at every polling place in New York City. This is intended to ensure the safety of today’s voters when casting their votes.
