Mexican man convicted of drug trafficking, other charges | Mid-Missouri News

Audrain County Judge Jason Lamb sentenced a Mexican man to 30 years in prison on Thursday for drug trafficking, illegal use of weapons and drug possession.

A jury found 53-year-old Larry Dale Karhoff guilty in August.

According to a press release from the Audrain County Prosecutor’s Office, a Missouri State Highway Patrol trooper stopped Karhoff in February 2022 for a suspended driver’s license. The officer reported finding methamphetamine, fentanyl and prescription drugs, as well as a handgun. Karhoff, who had previously been convicted of a felony, is not allowed to possess a weapon.

Karhoff currently has two other drug-related cases pending in Audrain County.
