Rumors about NPCs for version 5.2

A leaker named JoQa recently shared models of the unnamed chief of the Flower Feather clan, wearing a headdress with patterns reminiscent of Natlan’s lizards. The Chieftain could be a key character in Archon Quest version 5.2 who could help the traveler navigate the peculiarities of the village.

The Genshin Impact The wiki also mentions members of the Flower Feather clan known as “Wingless”, a group of people who fail the Qucusaur Rider test. It is implied that the Wingless are treated poorly in the village, leading them to leave the Flower Feather Clan and find work with other tribes. This group could appear as NPCs in version 5.2.

A look at the home of the Flower Feather Clan

Since the Flower Feather Clan village is located at the top of the high mountains of Natlan, players can expect elevated areas in the new location. This appears to be the case based on a leaked clip from Flying Flame that showed platforms and balloon-like contraptions floating in the air.

Possible Qucusaur sightings

Qucusaurs are a type of flying dragon in Natlan, and members of the Flower Feather Clan can form a good bond with them. Since the beginning of the Natlan arc Genshin Impact Players have encountered a number of Qucusaur enemies in the region, such as the Gold Flame Qucusaur Tyrant. It’s possible that the Flower Feather Clan domesticated Qucusaurs that players can interact with or even ride.

  • Gold Flame Qucusaur Tyrant (aka Holawaga Ngoubou): A normal boss challenge found on Huitzli Hill in the Pool of Countless Flames that drops the Mark of Binding Blessing upon defeat.

Considering that members of the Flower Feather Clan are said to be great fliers, it is likely that they travel on Qucusaurs in Natlan. There have already been rumors that the Pyro region could introduce an exploration mechanic with dragon mounts, which could also entice the possibility of flight through the region. Genshin Impact Characters can already transform into Tepetlisaur pups and talk to their adult versions, so the next update could introduce a unique way to interact with the Qucusaurs.
