LVMH Watch Week will take place in Los Angeles in January 2025

LVMH Watch Week travels to Los Angeles for its sixth edition. The meeting is scheduled for January 21-24.

The location and other details could not immediately be learned.

In a brief statement on Wednesday, the French luxury group said that nine of its watch houses would present their latest creations to the press, retailers and customers at the fair.

Louis Vuitton, Tiffany & Co. and L’Epée 1839 are new to the event, joining regulars Bulgari, Hublot, Tag Heuer, Zenith, Daniel Roth and Gérald Genta in Los Angeles.

The traveling exhibition first started in Dubai in 2020 and also took place in Singapore and most recently in Miami.

Frédéric Arnault, chief executive of LVMH Watches, said the trio of new exhibitors will “give further impetus to what has become an essential meeting point for watch lovers.”

“We are very excited about the prospect of welcoming our customers and all our partners at the very beginning of the year to an exhibition of new timepieces, great surprises and extraordinary creations that will mark 2025,” he added.

In announcing third-quarter results, LVMH Moët Hennessy Louis Vuitton said organic sales of watches and jewelry fell 4 percent but did not worsen.

The United States remains a rare bright spot for high-end watchmakers.

Announcing its data for September, the Swiss Watch Industry Association said exports grew a modest 2.4 percent but cemented its position as the leading market for Swiss watches.

In contrast, September exports to mainland China and Hong Kong, which have now fallen to fifth and fourth place in the market size rankings, fell 49.7 percent and 34.6 percent year-on-year, respectively.
