Inter Milan – Arsenal – latest in the Uefa Champions League as Mikel Arteta’s men look to maintain their unbeaten start in Europe

After finishing second in each of the last two Premier League seasons, Arsenal’s bid to go one step further this season got off to a rocky start.

Mikel Arteta’s side have won just five of their first 10 Premier League games and are now winless in their last three games in the division.

A 2-2 draw at home against Liverpool was sandwiched between away defeats against Bournemouth and most recently against Newcastle.

Injuries and red cards have plagued their season, with the Gunners having already sent off three players in the league.

Inter Milan, on the other hand, stormed to the Serie A title last season, finishing 19 points ahead of their local rivals in second place.

They face tougher competition this time around, with Antonio Conte’s Napoli currently a point ahead of Simone Inzaghi’s men at the top of the league.

However, the reigning champions are in exceptional form domestically, having won five of their last six Serie A games and drawing a thrilling 4-4 clash with Juventus.

They have now secured a 1-0 home win against Venezia thanks to Lautaro Martinez’s second-half header.
