Names of Mesa Falcon Field plane crash victims released.

PHOENIX – The identities of the people, including a child, involved in a plane crash that struck a car at Falcon Field Tuesday afternoon have been released, authorities said.

Three of the four people on board the plane died. One of the victims on board the plane survived and is currently in hospital with burn injuries.

  • Spencer Lindahl, 43

“The driver of a vehicle involved in the accident also died. We are not releasing the name until the official identity is confirmed,” Mesa Police Department Detective Richard Encinas said in a news release.

According to the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), the crash of a Honda HA-420 jet occurred near Greenfield and McKellips roads at 4:40 p.m.

The National Transportation Safety Board is investigating why the plane crashed, police said.
