The Warriors entered the game with four straight wins and are just a quarter away from the next one. Will they make it a fifth time, or will the Celtics show up and ruin it? We’ll know soon.

The Celtics enter the game having thoroughly defeated the Hawks: they outscored them in every quarter. Everything went well for the Celtics against the Hawks on Monday as the Celtics escaped with a 123-93 win. Boston has made a habit of blowing opponents off the court and has now won three matchups by 20 or more points this season.

Jayson Tatum continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines and nearly missed a double-double with 28 points and nine assists. The game was his fourth straight with at least 30 points.

Meanwhile, the Warriors were able to get a solid win over the Wizards on Monday, winning the game 125-112.

Boston’s win increased their record to 7-1. As for Golden State, their win increased their record to 6-1.

Keep an eye on the arc in Wednesday’s contest: The Celtics have made it easy to hit deep shots this season as they averaged 19 three-pointers per game. However, it’s not like the Warriors have any problems in this regard, as their average is 16.4. Given these competing strengths, it will be interesting to see how their clash unfolds.
