Hamas reacts to Trump’s victory, saying he must “seriously work to end the war in Gaza.”

The statement came after a report emerged claiming that Trump had asked Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to resolve the dispute by his inauguration on January 20 if he had won the election. Trump ultimately prevailed over Vice President Kamala Harris.

Hamas said: “Given the initial results showing Donald Trump’s victory in the US presidential election,” they believe he must “listen to the voices that have been raised by the US public on this issue for more than a year.” “ [Israeli] Aggression in the Gaza Strip.

The new Trump administration must “work earnestly to end the war of genocide and aggression against our Palestinian people in Gaza and the West Bank, to stop the aggression against the brotherly Lebanese people, to stop the military support and political cover for the Zionist entity “and to recognize the legitimate rights of our people,” Hamas added.
