Leaked PlayStation 6 release date suggests you should start saving – PlayStation

Time to hoard like a dragon

The launch of the PlayStation 5 Pro is just around the corner, but we’re already thinking about the future.

When will the PlayStation 6 be released?

You might think it’s foolhardy to focus on the next console when the latest one has just become available, but there’s a method to our madness.

On the one hand, not everyone wants to pay for the PS5 Pro when the PS6 launch may be just around the corner.

Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 looks amazing on the PS5 Pro – imagine how beautiful it would be on the PS6?

Additionally, some gamers haven’t yet seen major improvements that would justify the PS5 Pro’s high price, and so it makes sense to wait for Sony’s next big tech reveal.

While we always approach leaks with caution, we have to admit that the claims about the PS6 launching in 2028 are convincing.

Insider Gaming posted about it back in 2023. Why does it matter to us now?

Quite simply, the outlet was clear about when the PS5 Pro would launch. Therefore, it stands to reason that there is probably something to the speculation about the PS6 launching in 2028.

Even though 2028 is still a few years away, there isn’t much time to start saving.

The PS6 will have a high price, we are sure of that. Just look at how expensive the PS5 Pro is.

If you don’t want to be in tears until the PS6 releases, you should start padding your bank account now.

Especially if you paid for a PS5 Pro pre-order.

Speaking of which, there is a way to get a PS5 Pro for free, although you’ll have to act quickly to have a chance of getting it. There is currently a competition taking place to secure the new console. You might not win, but you might.
