An unknown man follows them and is later revealed to be a mercenary named Lightner, who almost kills Kiara and JJ and kidnaps Cleo. Wes also dies mysteriously and Cleo’s old friend and father figure Terrance sacrifices his life to save hers at the end of Episode 4.
