Woman pleads guilty in Ped Mall dispute

IOWA CITY, Iowa (KCRG) – A Cedar Rapids woman will serve probation for her role in a summer brawl at the Ped Mall in downtown Iowa City.

Court documents show Ellianna Jensen pleaded guilty to participating in a riot. Jensen received a suspended sentence and will be on probation for two years.

According to a criminal complaint, Jensen was involved in a fight with a group of people at the corner of College and Dubuque streets in the early morning hours of July 21.

Surveillance video reportedly shows Jensen punching people and stomping on victims while they lie on the ground.

Three other people, Avonus Hodges, Ayrondus Hodges and Andrew Williams have been charged in connection with this incident.
