Person killed in car crash in Portland

PORTLAND, Ore. (KPTV) – A pedestrian was killed in a car accident late Tuesday night, the Portland Police Bureau (PPB) said.

At approximately 11:30 p.m., PPB officers were called to the intersection of North Kerby Avenue and North Columbia Boulevard for a crash involving a pedestrian.

When they arrived, police discovered that the person walking had been killed in the accident. According to PPB, preliminary investigations indicated that two cars were involved.

The drivers of both cars remained at the scene of the accident.
