Spotify launches new TikTok and Instagram integrations that make sharing and saving easier than ever – Spotify

Music, podcasts and audiobooks are all around us, including right on our social media feeds. That’s why, starting today, we’re showing you ways to share and discover the music you love through integrations that connect Spotify with TikTok and Instagram.

Share your favorite content with TikTok

Starting today, Spotify users can share their favorite music, podcasts, and audiobooks directly from Spotify to TikTok. With this new integration, we’re giving listeners two ways to do this:

  • Users can post to TikTok feed (FYP or Stories) by sharing songs, albums, playlists, podcasts or audiobooks using TikTok’s popular green screen feature or photo mode.
  • DMs via TikTok messages Allow users to send friends their favorite music, podcasts, and audiobooks from Spotify.

Users can access the music, podcasts, and audiobooks shared on TikTok by simply tapping the link to go directly to Spotify, making it easy for users to discover new favorites.

This is how it works:

  • When you’re listening to your favorite music, podcast, or audiobook, tap “…” and then tap “Share” – or in Now Playing view, tap the share icon in the bottom right corner.
  • You can then share it to DMs via TikTok Messages or directly to FYP and Stories via TikTok.

This new feature complements our existing TikTok integration that allows users Easily save songs directly from TikTok to Spotify, and we’re excited to bring it to users around the world on iOS and Android.

Save your favorite songs directly from Instagram to Spotify

Spotify users can now also save songs from Instagram to Spotify with a simple tap. We’re always looking for new ways to create a deeper connection between artists and fans, and with this Instagram integration we’re making it easier than ever for users to discover artists and tracks they’ll love.

This is how it works:

  • As you scroll through Instagram, tap the song you like and it will take you to the song’s audio page on Instagram. Tap the “Add” button to link your account (only required the first time) and then the song will be saved directly to Spotify.
  • You can find your newly saved songs in your Likes Songs playlist in your library on Spotify.
  • Spotify and Instagram users on Android and iOS can access this experience.
