Pakistan defeats Australia by nine wickets to level the ODI series

Pakistan defeated world champions Australia by nine wickets in Adelaide to set up a one-day decider in the international series.

The hosts were dismissed for just 163 from 35 overs as fast bowler Haris Rauf broke the middle order to take 5-29.

Saim Ayub hit 82 off 71 balls while Abdullah Shafique scored an unbeaten score of 64 off 69 as the Pakistan openers scored 137.

Babar Azam then pulled Adam Zampa for six to take the tourists to their target with 23.3 overs to spare.

The third and final ODI will take place on Sunday at the Optus Stadium in Perth.

The two teams will then compete in a three-match international T20 series.
