Bushfire leads to evacuations in Fallbook

FALLBROOK, Calif. (KGTV) – Firefighters are battling a fast-spreading brush fire. called “garden fire”,” that broke out near the 3800 block of Lake Garden Drive in Fallbrook.

According to Cal Fire San Diego, the fire east of Gird Road and Pala Mesa Drive has already burned about 15 acres, with potential growth to 30 acres.

An evacuation order has been issued for the affected areas near Monserate Winery, shaded red on the map. Residents in marked zones were told to immediately evacuate to Riverview Church at 4980 Sweetgrass Lane.
