Friday night’s game against George Mason is a student-only game at the Al McGuire Center. It will be the first game Marquette has played at the 3,700-seat The Al since 2022.

Season ticket holders will have to watch the game at home like we all do, although that will be a little difficult. This is the first of 18 Big East games this season that will be available exclusively on Peacock, NBC’s streaming service.

Peacock requires a monthly subscription, with plans starting at $7.99 per month. There is also a student plan for $1.99 per month. Marquette only has two Big East conference games against Peacock later this season.

Former Golden Eagles star Tyler Kolek played his first season at George Mason before transferring to Marquette. Kolek is now with the New York Knicks and will play against the Milwaukee Bucks at Madison Square Garden on Friday night. Maybe he’ll be able to watch the second half of the game between his two college teams.
