Is Jamal Murray playing tonight? Latest injury update for Heat at Nuggets on November 8th

The Denver Nuggets are coming off their best win of the season, a 124-122 victory over the Thunder. Denver was without Jamal Murray and Aaron Gordon, which made the synchronization even more impressive.

The Nuggets are on a three-game winning streak and will be hoping to increase that number on Friday against the Heat. Miami is 3-4 this season and enters the match on a two-game losing streak. The Heat lost to the Suns 115-112 on Wednesday. Tyler Herro led Miami with 28 points on 9 of 15 shooting from the field and 5 of 9 from three. Haywood Highsmith dropped 29 off the bench.

Even though the Heat are still a year away from facing the Nuggets in the 2023 NBA Finals, this loss should still be painful. Denver cannot approach the game lightly. It helps that Jamal Murray is listed as questionable. He suffered a concussion in the third quarter of last Friday’s loss to Minnesota. He hasn’t played since.

Russell Westbrook scored a season-high 29 points (10 of 15 shots) in Murray’s place in the starting lineup on Wednesday. The former MVP had his ups and downs early in the season, but Murray also had his ups and downs. Hopefully Murray can play and prove his doubters wrong.
