Footage from the new D23 Brazil trailer has leaked online

D23 Brazil is now underway and a new trailer for Disney’s live-action Snow White The remake was shown to those in attendance. While it hasn’t been officially released yet (perhaps it still is), much of the footage has now been leaked online.

We also get a new look at Rachel Zegler as the titular princess through some official artwork spotted during the event.

Zegler had this to say about the backlash that the film’s first official image received online after its release.

“This is an iconic thing that people really care about. I don’t want to screw this up for anyone, including myself. The writers and Marc Webb and our entire production team. It’s a little different story-wise. We were able to do “Whistle While You Work,” which made me really happy and excited. I was really nervous, especially because of the technical element. This first look image has been released… and there’s a lot of CGI in the film.”

“I spent most of the day singing to nothing” Zegler continued. “I’m sure you know how that can be too. There was a lot of puppetry and CGI in post. It was really intense. There are a lot of glitches where I throw a broom and have it fall on the floor, because apparently that’s the way you throw things at CGI characters. But it’s so much fun!”

Snow White is led by The Amazing Spider-Man director Marc Webb, and is expected to expand the story of the 1937 animated classic. The film will feature new songs by Benj Pasek and Justin Paul (La La Land and The Greatest Showman) and is also presented Wonder Woman Star Gal Gadot as the Evil Queen.

The actors for most of the seven “Dwarves” have not yet been announced, but we know that Martin Klebba, who has appeared in all of them pirates of the Caribbean Movies, will play Grumpy. It’s also been confirmed that the film will feature a younger version of Snow White, suggesting we’ll get some sort of flashback that sheds more light on the title character’s origin.

Snow White is scheduled to hit theaters next March.
