Dresden man arrested after domestic incident and personal injury accident: victim taken to hospital

Ontario County sheriff’s deputies arrested a Dresden man Friday night after a domestic dispute that led to a personal injury crash on Lake to Lake Road, officials reported.

Blake M. Randolph, 27, was arrested near Kearney Road in Gorham around 9:40 p.m. after officers discovered he was intoxicated and driving his vehicle without a valid license. According to authorities, the incident began as a domestic dispute between Randolph and a 44-year-old female passenger while driving. At some point, the woman exited the vehicle and Randolph allegedly reversed at a high rate of speed, striking the victim.

The woman suffered non-life-threatening injuries and was taken to FF Thompson Hospital in Canandaigua for medical treatment. Randolph was located nearby where officers determined he was intoxicated. He faces multiple charges, including aggravated driving under the influence, aggravated unlicensed activity in the first and second degrees, leaving the scene of an accident involving personal injury, reckless driving, unsafe restraint and assault in the second degree.

Randolph was taken to the Ontario County Jail and held for arraignment in CAP Court. He is scheduled to appear in Gorham Municipal Court at a later date.
