There has been a lot of criticism of Georgia Bulldogs quarterback Carson Beck’s play lately. The Bulldogs have looked sluggish offensively at times, and Beck has thrown two touchdowns and six interceptions in his last two games. Some fans have even pushed for Beck to be benched.

There aren’t many better candidates than former Georgia quarterback Aaron Murray.

“Message to the fans: This is still a very talented quarterback … you can feel him (the offense) coming together,” Aaron Murray said. “The stupid mistakes keep Georgia from being a really good offense.”

“Carson is just forcing it,” Murray continued. “He’s trying to make up for having people he didn’t have a year ago.”

It’s true that Beck lost a significant amount of talent, like Brock Bowers and Ladd McConkey, but it seems like he’s trying to force shots that sometimes aren’t there. The only way to know if he followed Murray’s advice is to watch the next few games, particularly the matchup against No. 16 Ole Miss at 3:30 p.m. ET. Georgia faces an elite Ole Miss offense and a quarterback firing on all cylinders.
