Garnacho deleted, 3 big changes | Confirmed Man Utd line-up (4-2-3-1) vs Leicester City

Manchester United interim coach Ruud van Nistelrooy has named his starting line-up for today’s Premier League clash against Leicester City at Old Trafford.

The Red Devils got their first win in the Europa League in midweek. Two successful goals from Amad Diallo secured them a 2-0 win over PAOK.

United are now aiming to return to winning ways in the Premier League. Ahead of today’s encounter, Van Nistelrooy made three changes to the starting lineup.

Andre Onana keeps his place in goal as usual, but there are two changes in defense: Lisandro Martinez and Matthijs de Ligt come in for Jonny Evans and Victor Lindelof in central defense.

Diogo Dalot and Noussair Mazraoui remain in the Red Devils’ full-back positions.

In midfield, Manuel Ugarte retains his place despite a disappointing performance during the week. The Uruguayan lost the ball nine times and only won two of eight duels played.

Ugarte will support Casemiro in the middle of the park, while club captain Bruno Fernandes takes the number 10 position. The Portuguese has shown signs of returning to form.

Alejandro Garnacho was forced out due to his disappointing performances against PAOK and Chelsea.

Marcus Rashford will start on the left wing in front of the Argentine. Diallo gets the nod at right wing after putting in an excellent second-half performance against PAOK on Thursday.

Rasmus Hojlund continues to lead the United attack despite only completing four passes in 89 minutes. He needs a significant improvement from his recent performance.

United can reduce the gap to the top four to just four points with a win if the other results are good.

Confirmed Man Utd line-up (4-2-3-1) vs Leicester City: Onana; Mazraoui, De Ligt, Martinez, Dalot; Ugarte, Casemiro; Diallo, Fernandes, Rashford; Hojlund.
