Drake London status update for week 10

The Atlanta Falcons will face the New Orleans Saints this weekend at Caesars Superdome. Both teams are struggling entering Week 10, but the Falcons received good news about injured wide receiver Drake London.

According to a report from ESPN’s Adam Schefter, London is expected to play against the Saints on Sunday. The third-year wideout left last week’s win over the Dallas Cowboys in the first quarter with a hip injury and did not return.

London has been a limited presence at practice this week, but it sounds like Atlanta will have its best weapon in Week 10 against its No. 1 rival.

London has 50 catches for 552 receiving yards and six touchdowns this season. He has become a favorite target of quarterback Kirk Cousins and is on pace to post a career-best 11 touchdowns this year.

Drake London injury update:

According to Schefter, London is expected to play, but it won’t be official until the team’s list of inactive players is released on Sunday at 11:30 a.m. ET. London was limited for all three Falcons practices this week due to a hip pointer.

Drew Dalman injury update:

Dalman was officially ruled out of Sunday’s game with a severe ankle sprain. The veteran center has missed the last six games and will now miss his seventh in Week 10. Dalman should return from the injured reserve list but has yet to be activated.
