what is Arcana around?

Arcana tells the story of the creation of two iconic ones League of Legends Champions who happen to be sisters. Jinx (Purnell) – aka Powder – and Vi (Steinfeld) find themselves on rival sides in a brewing war between the utopian city of Piltover and its oppressed underbelly, Zaun. Powder and Vi completely transform at the end of the first season, as Powder becomes the mischievous Jinx and Vi proves that she is a champion not to be messed with.

what is Arcana related to?

Arcana is based on the popular multiplayer online battle arena game League of Legendsdeveloped and published by Riot Games in 2009. The animated series was developed by co-creators Linke and Alex Yee and produced by French animation studio Fortiche Production in collaboration with Riot Games. The co-creators were initially drawn to Vi and Jinx’s origin story after carefully crafting the characters League of Legends. “I think it was a very organic attraction to her. They were just cool. What can I expect from it? Arcana Season two?

The world is bigger than ever in the show’s second season and will go places you couldn’t have imagined. The second season picks up from the explosive events of the first season after Jinx drops a stolen Hextech gem on the Piltover Council. “I think a lot of the characters are the good duels of the first season and try to avoid the open conflict between the two cities,” Linke said. “And then, at the end of the first season, it is no longer possible to avoid this confrontation. And so the second season really explores the dark sides of the characters.”

Sisters Jinx and Vi are far from reconciled – Jinx must now reckon with her reckless decision, which may have jeopardized any possibility of resolution between Piltover and Zaun, and the impact it will have on her relationship with Vi . “One of the biggest themes of Arcana “That means you are the decisions you make, and you can never predict the consequences of those decisions,” Purnell told Netflix. And about Jinx in particular, she added, “She’s at an all-time low and has to finally decide: Is she Jinx or Powder?” Steinfeld, who voices Vi, noted her character’s evolution over the course of the series. “We have seen her deal with so much trauma, and we see her continuing to do so — not always in a graceful way,” she said. “But in the end she learned a lot and grew a lot.”

How does the scope and production of the second season improve?

ArcanaThe second season is in many ways bigger than the first season, with images that take the story to a whole new level. “It’s just really, really, really special,” said Linke, who credits Fortiche with creating what he called “a very visceral experience.” Yee added, “We hope fans still feel like their characters were given a story that is authentically their own.”

Both Steinfeld and Purnell agreed that there is something for everyone in the second season. “I hope that [fans] “Look at it and feel like you can get lost in it,” Steinfeld said, and Purnell added, “It’s heartbreaking and beautiful and devastating and it feels satisfying.” I’m really pleased for people to see it.”

Accepting that the powder is gone, Vi decides what she must do – deal with the monster she created: Jinx. Knowing how dangerous her sister is, Vi teams up with Caitlyn and gives in to her request to don the Enforcer badge.

Jinx was torn between two identities: the strong, powerful daughter who raised Silco and the fearful, weak little sister who protected Vi. Jinx now accepts that she is the monster that created Vi and becomes a hollow shell – she is the cursed “Jinx” who ruins everything.
