How Alabama fans can watch the College Football Playoff Rankings release show

Alabama football has another ranking win under its belt to present to the college football playoff committee.

In the first CFP rankings of the new 12-team playoffs, the Crimson Tide finished at No. 11, one of four SEC teams in the top 12, along with No. 3 Georgia, No. 5 Texas and No. 7 Tennessee. Alabama was scheduled to face Texas in the first round of the CFP in Austin on Dec. 20 or 21.

Alabama (7-2, 4-2) defeated LSU, ranked No. 15 in last Tuesday’s rankings, on Saturday in Baton Rouge.

So Alabama fans can watch the second CFP rankings show on Tuesday.

The first CFP rankings were announced on November 5th.

  • Rank 3: 6 p.m., November 19th
  • Rank 4: 7 p.m., November 26th
  • Rank 5: 6 p.m., December 3rd

Here are the latest Alabama predictions ahead of the release of the No. 2 CFP rankings

  • CBS Sports has third-seeded Alabama playing in the Peach Bowl against the winner of the scheduled first-round matchup between No. 6 Georgia and No. 11 Indiana.
  • Bleacher Report predicts a first-round matchup between No. 11 Alabama and No. 11 Penn State, with the two programs playing for a spot in the Peach Bowl against No. 3 Miami.
