The US government is holding another hearing on UFOs this week, which you can watch live.

The US House of Representatives Committee on Oversight and Accountability will lead the hearing entitled “Unidentified Anomalous Phenomena: Uncovering the Truth.” The event’s name refers to UFOs by their new preferred acronym, which includes sightings that may occur not only in the air but also in space, as well as those that occur across multiple domains.

According to a statement from the House of Representatives, this is the second congressional hearing convened by the U.S. Congress to “further expose the U.S. government’s secret UAP research programs and the undisclosed intelligence derived from them.” The hearing will examine the Department of Defense’s strict classification policies regarding UAP and related topics and examine ways to “ensure that the American public is better informed about this topic.”

This will be a joint hearing led by Reps. Nancy Mace (R-S.C.) and Glenn Grothman (R-Wis.), who argue that “the American people’s obfuscation and refusal to release information by the federal government fed up.” ” said the statement from the House of Representatives.

Experts at the hearing will include Luis Elizondo, a decorated former counterintelligence officer who has alleged for years that the U.S. government is concealing knowledge of UAP, including materials recovered from crashed flying saucers.

“The cover-up and disinformation campaign has been so successful that most scientists don’t even know that UAPs are real,” Elizondo wrote in his 2024 book “Imminent.” The book also claims that four “deceased non-human bodies” were recovered from the infamous 1947 crash in Roswell, New Mexico, and that “China and Russia cannot bear the same stigma and entrust their scientists to work on this issue for them.” work.”

Elizondo also claimed first-hand knowledge of U.S. programs that use people with psychic powers to “remotely observe” remote locations. Most recently, the former counterintelligence officer hosted a paid event showing a photo that Elizondo claimed was a “real photo” of a “mothership” UFO over a US embassy. Within a few days it turned out that the photo was a reflection of a lamp in a window.

The House hearing will also include Tim Gallaudet, a retired U.S. Navy rear admiral who did not identify diving objects, arguing that “these underwater anomalies threaten U.S. maritime security.” Gallaudet also told interviewers that his daughter was a “medium” who could communicate with spirits.

Other speakers at the hearing include journalist Michael Shellenberger, who has also alleged that the U.S. government is hiding UFO crash recovery programs, and Michael Gold, former NASA associate administrator for space policy and partnerships, who is a member of the independent UAP NASA study team.

According to NASA Administrator Bill Nelson in September 2024, when the team’s report was released, “the key takeaway from the study is that there is much more to learn.”
