New data from Reveal took a look and calculated which states have the highest cybercrime rates. Specifically, it was about identity theft.

Identity theft occurs when a criminal uses your information without your consent. This could involve your data or the use of your bank details for illegal transactions.

Where Colorado ranks #1 in identity theft

Colorado ranked second among states with the highest average rate of identity theft. 12 out of 100,000 residents have had a situation or crime involving identity theft.
