Hurricanes @ Golden Knights Preview and Game Thread

The Carolina Hurricanes (10-3-0) travel to Las Vegas tonight to take on the Golden Knights (9-3-2) at T-Mobile Arena.

The Canes are coming off a tough 6-4 loss to Colorado, while the Knights recently lost 4-3 in OT to the Kraken. Carolina had won eight straight games before facing the Avs. The Knights have a record of 6-1-1 in their last 8 games.

Martin Necas leads his club with 23 points, Jack Eichel has 22 for the home team.

The Hurricanes have fielded the exact same group of 18 players for every game this season, but that could change tonight. Tyson Jost and Ty Smith were both recalled from Chicago. I haven’t seen an official lineup for tonight’s contest.

The team’s preview is here –

A report on Twitter mentioned that Vegas coach Bruce Cassidy said before the game that Mark Stone would not play for the home team tonight.

They will celebrate Veterans Day with a special ceremony tonight.

It should be good!
