Zachary Quinto prepares for experimental treatment in exclusive Brilliant Minds clip

ComingSoon is excited to make an exclusive debut Brilliant minds Excerpt from the next episode of NBC’s newest medical drama. The seventh episode titled “The Lovesick Widow” will premiere this Monday, November 11th.

“Wolf and the interns discuss the condition and cause of Roman’s condition following their most experimental treatment yet: an implantation of a brain-computer interface into the brain of their John Doe patient,” the episode 7 logline reads.

What happens in the Brilliant Minds clip?

The video shows Zachary Quintos Dr. Wolf discusses his newest patient’s medical records and history with his team before he can begin experimental treatment on his John Doe patient. Quinto is joined by Tamberla Perry, Ashleigh LaThrop, Alexander MacNicoll, Aury Krebs, Spence Moore II and Teddy Sears, with Mandy Patinkin, Steve Howey and André De Shields serving as guest stars.

“Brilliant Minds” is executive produced by writer Michael Grassi and director Lee Toland Krieger and is based on Sacks’ two books “The Man Who Mistook His Wife for a Hat” and “An Anthropologist on Mars.” The series is executive produced by Greg Berlanti, Sarah Schechter, Leigh London Redman, Henrik Bastin, Melissa Aouate, Andy Serkis, Jonathan Cavendish, Will Tennant and DeMane Davis.

“Inspired by Oliver Sacks’ extraordinary life and work, the series follows revolutionary, larger-than-life neurologist Oliver Wolf (Quinto) and his team of interns as they explore the last great frontier – the human mind – while grappling with their own relationships and mental health,” the logline says.
