NFL playoff picture: Chiefs lead AFC, Lions lead NFC postseason race after narrow wins in Week 10

Week 10 of the NFL season is upon us and the playoff picture is taking shape.

The Kansas City Chiefs blocked a field goal as time expired to defeat the Denver Broncos on Sunday afternoon and remain undefeated at 9-0 on the year. They have a commanding lead in the AFC West and are on track to secure a bye in the AFC.

In the NFC, the Detroit Lions rallied together and scored 19 unanswered points to beat the Houston Texans 26-23 with a game-winning field goal on Sunday night. They have won seven straight games and hold the top spot in the NFC. This victory came despite quarterback Jared Goff throwing five interceptions.
