Kai Cenat becomes the Twitch streamer with the most subscribers at the Mafiaathon 2 subathon

Kai Cenat is officially the Twitch streamer with the most subscribers of all time, surpassing the previous record holder Ironmouse, a well-known VTuber. Cenat reached this milestone on day 11 of its Mafiaathon 2 subathon event, recording over 326,988 active subscribers. His ongoing show, which began on October 14, 2024, has garnered a lot of attention across the streaming community. This achievement comes just a month after Ironmouse set the previous record with 306,620 subscribers.

Ironmouse responded to Cenat’s record-breaking moment, congratulating the 22-year-old and expressing hope for his continued growth on the platform. She remarked: “Bro, if he gets to a million subscribers, it will be great! He hasn’t even made it the whole month!”

Cenat took a moment during his broadcast to address his viewers and share his excitement, exclaiming, “Oh my God, chat! I don’t even want the music; this doesn’t feel real.” Cenat expressed disbelief at regaining the title, especially after losing it a month ago. His shock and gratitude were clear as he interacted with his community and said, “Day 11! I need to post on Twitter real quick.”

FaZe Clan member Kaysan noted that during the peak of the subathon, Cenat gained over 10,000 Twitch subscribers in just a few minutes, highlighting the quick support Cenat received.

In addition to this record-breaking moment, Cenat was nominated for Streamer of the Year at the 2024 Streamer Awards for the third year in a row. As Cenat’s Mafiaathon 2 continues, his subscriber count could continue to rise and solidify his influence and popularity in the streaming world
