My Chemical Romance Announces 2025 The Black Parade Tour

My Chemical Romance is preparing to indulge in nostalgia with the announcement that the group will be hitting the road in summer 2025 to celebrate and perform their third album, “‘Long Live’ The Black Parade” in its entirety.

The group, which recently performed “The Black Parade” at the When We Were Young Fest in Las Vegas last month, will tour the album in 10 cities across North America. At each stop, the band will feature a different opening act, including 100 Gecs, Death Cab for Cutie, Thursday, Alice Cooper, Devo, Evanescence, Idles, Pixies, Wallows, Garbage and Violent Femmes.

My Chemical Romance, consisting of Gerard Way, Ray Toro, Frank Iero and Mikey Way, will open the Black Parade tour in Seattle on July 11th. Stops along the way include San Francisco, Los Angeles, Philadelphia, Chicago and Boston. The final show is scheduled for September 13th in Tampa.

The band announced the tour with a trailer and shared their excitement for the trip on social media. “It has been seventeen years since The Black Parade was sent to MOAT. During this time, a great dictator came to power and brought about “THE CONCRETE AGE”; “A glorious period of stability and prosperity in DRAAG’s history,” they wrote. “His great immortal dictator wishes to celebrate our rich and storied culture, our fine food and our musical entertainments by welcoming you to these magnificent displays of power and determination. And for the first time in six thousand two hundred and forty-six days, after their working privileges have been ceremoniously restored, the national band of his great immortal dictator… will lend voice and song to The Black Parade.”
