Fox News host Jesse Watters says his mother didn’t invite him to Thanksgiving after Trump’s election victory

Fox News host Jesse Watters has revealed that his own mother didn’t invite him to Thanksgiving after Donald Trump defeated Kamala Harris in the presidential election.

The host and staunch Trump supporter, who regularly shares details of clashes with his Democratic-voting mother, mocked liberals for keeping conservatives away from Thanksgiving following the Republican’s victory.

“Since they can’t stop us, we’re not invited to Thanksgiving,” he said on his show Monday night.

“People are taking up some space in the Watters household. I want to let you know that I was not invited to my mother’s house for Thanksgiving. Apparently there wasn’t enough room.”

“She said it was an appointment situation,” Watters snorted. “And then at the last second she invited me to come over for Black Friday. I told her, ‘No thanks, I’ll be at Best Buy.'”

Trump’s daughter-in-law Lara Trump felt sorry for the Fox News host when she joined him as his next guest on the primetime show.

“By the way, you are welcome to come to the Trump House for Thanksgiving,” she said. “I don’t want you to be left out in the cold on this.”

“Well, that would upset my mother even more,” Watters replied.

Watters draws on segments from MSNBC about how Harris supporters can “get ahead” if they work with Trump or have family members who voted for Trump.

One of the segments Watters mocked involved Yale University child psychiatrist Amanda Calhoun’s appearance on MSNBC, where she urged viewers whose family members voted for Trump to avoid those relatives over the holidays .

“If you find yourself in a situation where you have family members or close friends who you know have voted in a way that is against you and your livelihood, then it is perfectly fine not to “Being close to these people and telling them why,” she told MSNBC’s Joy Reid last Friday.

“To say, ‘I have a problem with the way you voted because it hurt my livelihood, and I won’t be around you this holiday, I need to take some space.'”

Watters’ mother has sent her son critical text messages since 2017, when he became a co-host of The Five.

Later, producers introduced a segment called “Mom Texts” in which he regularly read his mother’s texts to him.
