Ratcliffe becomes CIA director under Trump

John Ratcliffe, who served as President-elect Trump’s top intelligence adviser during his first term, will serve as director of the Central Intelligence Agency when Trump returns to the White House.

Ratcliffe is one of several candidates announced last week to fill key positions in Trump’s second term.

“From exposing fake Russian collusion as a Clinton campaign operation to exposing the FBI’s abuse of civil rights in the FISA court, John Ratcliffe has always been a fighter for truth and honesty to the American public,” Trump said in a statement. “When 51 intelligence officials lied about Hunter Biden’s laptop, there was one, John Ratcliffe, who told the truth to the American people.”
