“Deadpool & Wolverine” is streaming. How to watch on Disney+

Deadpool & Wolverine, the third installment in the Merc with a Mouth film series, is now streaming on Disney+.

The film, starring Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman, grossed more than $1 billion at the box office, according to the Walt Disney Company, making it the most successful R-rated film of all time.

Deadpool & Wolverine began streaming on Disney+ on Tuesday, November 12, 2024.

The streaming service announced the date in a fleeting moment near the end of a teaser trailer that announced the release of upcoming 2024-2025 Marvel Studios titles exclusively on Disney+.

How much does Disney Plus cost?

A subscription to Disney+ currently starts at $10.99 per month. Premium subscriptions are also available for $16.99 to $19.99 per month and include ad-free streaming and bundled access to Hulu, ESPN+ and Max.

Is Deadpool & Wolverine on Amazon Prime?

The film is not included in the streaming subscription on Amazon Prime Video. However, you can buy Deadpool & Wolverine now on Amazon Prime Video starting at $19.99.

What is the plot of Deadpool and Wolverine?

According to a synopsis from Showtimes, Wade Wilson (Ryan Reynolds), aka Deadpool, is depressed. He was dumped by his girlfriend Vanessa (Morena Baccarin), rejected by the Avengers and now sells used cars. Things look bleak until a Time Variance Authority agent named Mr. Paradox (Matthew Macfadyen) asks Deadpool to join the Marvel Cinematic Universe and help protect the multiverse.

Deadpool travels to another timeline and teams up with Wolverine (Hugh Jackman), who turns out to be more grumpy and cranky than he expected, writes Showtimes. The pair’s mission is to save the Deadpool universe before it is destroyed by traveling from one location to another, some of which are filled with debris from other 20th Century Fox films.

Deadpool & Wolverine is rated R for bloody violence, strong language and sexual references. According to Disney, it is the highest-grossing R-rated film in history, grossing $1 billion in the first 23 days of its release.

Disney had similar success this year with “Inside Out 2,” another billion-dollar, PG-rated film. The Walt Disney Company has billed itself as the only studio to release two billion-dollar grossing films in a single year.
