Ciara Says She’s Open to Having More Kids with Husband Russell Wilson (Exclusive)

Ciara is open to expanding her family with husband Russell Wilson.

The 39-year-old “1, 2 Step” singer spoke exclusively with PEOPLE about motherhood at the 2024 Baby2Baby Gala presented by Paul Mitchell in Beverly Hills, Calif., on Saturday, November 9, and how her four children support her very busy.

“Oh my God, it showed up. I have a child on every corner,” she jokes. “Oh my Lord, pray for me sometimes.”

The Grammy-winning singer then revealed that despite the current chaos, she’s ready to have a fifth child – but not right away. “Russ is always walking around saying, ‘Cinco.’ And I’m like, ‘High five, I love you too,'” Ciara says, adding, “I mean, listen, I think we can make it to five, but this mom just needs a little time.”

The “I Bet” singer and the Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback, 35, share daughter Sienna, 7, son Win, 4, and daughter Amora, 10 months. Ciara is also mother to 10-year-old son Future, whom she shares with rapper Future.

The couple, who married in 2016, celebrated their eighth wedding anniversary in July. To mark the occasion, Wilson shared a video compilation of some of the couple’s most romantic moments in an Instagram post.

“Celebrating 8 years of God’s love and grace upon us @Ciara! Since we met, you have been my strength in every test. My joy in every moment. My peace in every prayer. God has blessed me with the most incredible gift in you.” “I’m so grateful for our journey together,” he wrote in the caption, concluding the message with a heart emoji.

Ciara paid tribute to her then-husband on Instagram, saying: “I love walking with you, talking to you, lying in your arms and doing everything with you! I’m the happiest girl because you love me!” “
