Portland Trail Blazers beat Minnesota Timberwolves: Postgame videos

…well, THAT is more true! After a shocking loss to the Memphis Grizzlies on Sunday, the Portland Trail Blazers defeated the Minnesota Timberwolves with a resounding 122-108 victory in Portland.

Head coach Chauncey Billups sounded noticeably different than his postgame interview a few days ago, praising Robert Williams III and his team’s overall performance. “It was a big win,” Billups said. “Anytime you get the three balls going, it’s going to be a beautiful game… 29 assists is incredible, our defensive rebounding and just sharing the basketball, I think that’s what impressed me the most.”

Deni Avdija had his best game in the red and black, going 17-4-5 with a steal and a block and 3-6 with a shot from distance. Avdija spoke about how he showed character after Sunday’s bad defeat, how helpful it is to play a strong game with his new team and how happy he was to see Williams on the pitch:

For his part, Robert Williams III talked about bringing good energy to the team, being a playmaker, getting his scorers going and getting the team to communicate better with each other on the court:
