Bill Ackman compares Yale to Hamas – calls Ivy League ‘potentially even more dangerous’

Bill Ackman said Yale University is “no different than Hamas” and that the Ivy League school is “potentially even more dangerous” than the Palestinian terrorist group.

The billionaire hedge fund manager published a post that went viral on his X account. It quotes “a friend” who was “asked to write a recommendation for his daughter who is applying to Yale.”

The unnamed “friend” wrote that he could not write the letter because he was “no longer” willing to engage Yale.

“You would not ask me to write a letter of recommendation for your admission into Hamas,” Ackman wrote, adding that the university is “no different than Hamas” because it is a “sect that does not tolerate dissent , and a cult that one is sure of. “Its purpose and mission go beyond reflection.”

The post goes on to claim that Yale is “potentially even more dangerous” because while the Palestinian group that carried out the massacre of Israelis on October 7, 2023 “will soon be defeated,” Yale “will continue to place its graduates in positions “Send.” Has been doing this for years.”

The “friend” quoted by Ackman wrote that the prospective student “will not learn” the “essential life skill” “the ability to change one’s mind” at Yale or “any Ivy League school.”

“Their reputation remains so strong that their faculty, staff and alumni all possess the arrogant security of religious fanatics,” Ackman wrote.

The Post has reached out to Yale for comment.

Yale is one of numerous university campuses rocked by protests and demonstrations by students denouncing Israeli military attacks in Gaza following the massacre by Hamas terrorists on October 7, 2023.

The subsequent Israeli retaliation, which is estimated to have killed tens of thousands of Palestinians in Gaza, sparked calls among students at Yale and other colleges to divest from companies that do business with Israel.

In April, Yale students set up a “Liberation Zone” encampment on campus, similar to the tent protests at Columbia University, whose administration called on the NYPD to arrest students participating in demonstrations.

Police were called to the Yale campus where they arrested more than 50 people, including 46 students.

The Yale Corporation, which manages the school’s $40 billion endowment, rejected calls from students to divest from companies that do business with Israel.

Ackman, a Harvard University graduate, publicly pushed for his alma mater to fire its president, Claudine Gay, after accusing her of failing to address alleged anti-Semitic attacks against Jewish students on its campus in Cambridge, Massachusetts .

Gay ultimately resigned in January after it was revealed that she had committed plagiarism in her academic work.

Ackman criticized Gay for plagiarism and then threatened to sue Business Insider after it was revealed that his wife, Neri Oxman, had plagiarized several paragraphs in her 2010 MIT doctoral thesis.
