DWTS’ Ezra Sosa slams Jenn Tran’s ex Devin Strader for shading Sasha Farber

Ezra Sosa has entered the chat.

Sosa intervened in a conversation that Jenn Tran’s ex Devin Strader started about her ex Dancing with the stars Partner Sasha Farber. In the comments of a Nov. 9 photo dump, Strader argued with a fan who wrote, “Jenn found a great guy, his name is Sasha.”

“That’s a girl [sic] Names,” replied Strader.

Sosa then left a comment defending his colleague DWTS Pro who says: “I know 5 Devins ALL that have women in them 🤷”

The clapback received over 550 likes, with users praising Sosa for standing up for Tran and Farber.

Strader quickly addressed Sosa’s comment, writing: “Wow – here’s your ✨gold star✨ 👆🫵 ⭐”

Farber and Tran first sparked romance rumors when fans saw the natural chemistry between them and their banter DWTS. Even after their departure, they continued to spend time together, documenting weekend getaways and red carpet appearances together.

In a sweet TikTok posted shortly after the elimination that showed Tran knocking on Farber’s door, members of the DWTS Family showed up in the comments to support the two.

Derek Hough, who is a judge on Season 33 of the ABC dance competition, wrote: “I give it 100 points 🙂 I’m happy for you both ❤️”

Sosa left two comments, including “This is so sweet 🥹” and “I’m shipping it.”

Tran and Strader had a messy breakup after getting engaged at the end of season 21 The Bachelorette. During the After the Final Rose special, she revealed that the relationship ended with a quick phone call after not hearing from Strader for a long time.

“Once we left Hawaii, things were just different,” she said. “It kind of felt like he was going back on all the promises he had made to me – he wanted to move somewhere together, had the future planned and wanted to see each other all the time.”

Tran said she felt like she was being “ghosted” by her fiancé at the time.

“He called me and basically called off the engagement,” she said. “[He said] He didn’t love me anymore, felt the same way and had the feeling that something was wrong since the second marriage proposal. He regretted his engagement.”

Later in the episode, Tran confronted Strader and he claimed his feelings for her had simply faded.

“Obviously I let you down,” he said. “And I can’t say anything else. But everything I felt for you was real.”

Tran opened up to PEOPLE in September after she and Strader confronted each other for the first time following their split.

“I had no idea what was going to happen and right now I was just thinking about the things that were important to me,” she said. “And what was important to me was the fact that he disrespected our entire relationship after the fact.”

“Like I said, I can sit here and try to understand why someone changes their mind after making all these crazy, crazy expressions of love, but then I can also sit here and disrespect the entire relationship by doing things like that you know are going to happen.” “Hurting me and doing things that are just disrespectful to me is the next level of insanity,” she added.
