Pedestrian injured in hit-and-run accident in southeast Colorado Springs

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KKTV) – Police are searching for the driver who hit a pedestrian and sped away, leaving the victim injured on the road.

According to officials, the pedestrian was crossing the Hancock Expressway north of Milton Proby around 8:45 a.m. Monday night when he was struck. The pedestrian was seriously injured and taken to hospital after police arrived. The police did not want to say whether it was a passerby who caused the accident.

There is no suspicious vehicle description available at the time of writing this article.

The victim’s condition was not updated as of Tuesday morning.
