GTA 6’s open world gameplay leak has so much to offer, we don’t know where to start – news

Can you believe it’s the one-year anniversary next month? Grand Theft Auto VI‘s launch trailer?

In December 2023, Rockstar Games finally decided to lift the lid on the highly anticipated project.

It’s just a shame that this lid has remained tightly closed ever since.

Rockstar emerged over the summer to narrow down GTA VIThe 2025 release window extends to fall 2025, but we haven’t received anything on a gameplay reveal yet.

Needless to say, fans are craving something new, be it gameplay or a simple series of screenshots.

Theories abound and many assume that Rockstar is planning a second reveal next month.

In the meantime, however, some fans have set about re-examining the footage that surfaced online during 2022’s big leak.

It’s certainly a desperate measure, but some interesting tidbits have been brought to light.

Tidbits may actually be too shallow a word, as Reddit user Denso95 shared over 50 unique details he discovered in the leaked gameplay footage in a thread.

For example, Denso95 found out that there is a gang called “Guardia” and came across a long list of so-called ambient events.

One such event, called PghStripClub2 Construction, will likely see a strip club emerge over time, suggesting that Vice City will change and evolve throughout our playthrough.

Admittedly, many of these discoveries are rather banal in nature.

The user lists that UFOs are back, plus there will be massage parlors, bingo places and hotels – no real surprise.

Alligators are said to hunt other animals, Bigfoot may return, missing person posters are marked “mystery” and there is a place called Swamp Safari Crazy Golf.

“Torture is back and it’s taking place in a warehouse,” the user wrote…so it doesn’t sound like that GTA VI will be less controversial than GTA V.

A line of events called “Strange Animal Deaths” was also revealed.

Port Gelhorn will be a second city, according to this user, with Miami Keys also confirmed as a location.

An underwater research facility, a fairytale forest puzzle, island camps and a space center are mentioned.

Of course, I have to remind you to take all of this with a grain of salt until these things are confirmed by Rockstar.

However, if the above leaks are true, it sounds like the studio has created another banger – full of details that we’ll discover in the coming years.
