5 injured after 9-vehicle crash in Murfreesboro

MURFREESBORO, Tenn. (WSMV) – Multiple people were taken to a local hospital after a nine-vehicle crash in Murfreesboro on Thursday.

According to Murfreesboro police, a rear-end collision caused the nine-vehicle accident on Northeast Broad Street at the intersection of S. Church Street.

MPD said at one point all lanes were blocked as first responders processed the crash. Broad Street has since reopened.

According to police, five victims were taken to a local hospital with injuries that were not believed to be life-threatening. Seven other people involved are believed to remain uninjured.
