7 arrests in Columbus for drug trafficking and gang investigations

COLUMBUS, Ga. (WTVM) – Multiple suspects were arrested after more than $30,000 worth of drugs and firearms were seized from a Columbus residence.

The raid occurred Nov. 3 as part of an ongoing Columbus police investigation into drug trafficking and street gang criminal activity. Officials say the operation targeted members of the “Rolling 60’s Crips/DBH gang, a well-known criminal organization.”

Police recovered the following items from a home in the 4200 block of Roman Drive in Columbus:

  • Marijuana: 3,096.2 grams (6.82 pounds), estimated street value $30,962
  • Seasoning: 19.5 grams, estimated street value $195
  • THC: 18.7 grams, estimated street value $467.50
  • Total value of narcotics seized: $31,624.50
  • Firearms recovered: 6

Two firearms were reported stolen

  1. Frank Jackson Jr., 45
  • Criminal street gang activity (18 points)
  • Possession with intent to distribute
  • Drug-related objects
  • Possession of a controlled substance within or within 1,000 feet of the school
  • Possession of a machine gun o Convicted felon in possession of a firearm
  • Theft by receipt (stolen firearm)
  • Possession of a firearm during the commission of certain crimes
  1. Treveyonne Campbell, 30
  • Criminal street gang activity (21 cases)
  • Possession with intent to distribute drug-related items
  • Possession of a controlled substance within or within 1,000 feet of the school
  • Possession of a Machine Gun o Convicted Felon in Possession of a Firearm o Theft by Receiving Stolen Firearms (2 counts)
  • Possession of a firearm during the commission of certain crimes
  1. Brandon Lee, 31
  • Criminal street gang activity (18 points)
  • Possession with intent to distribute drug-related items
  • Possession of a controlled substance within or within 1,000 feet of the school
  • Possession of a machine gun o Convicted felon in possession of a firearm
  • Theft by receiving stolen firearms
  • Possession of a firearm during the commission of certain crimes

  • Criminal street gang activity (15 points)
  • Possession with intent to distribute drug-related items
  • Possession of a controlled substance within or within 1,000 feet of the school
  • Possession of a machine gun or theft by receiving stolen firearms
  • Possession of a firearm during the commission of certain crimes
