A man was killed and a woman was seriously injured in a crash in Hueytown

HUEYTOWN, Ala. (WBRC) – A 25-year-old man was killed and a 66-year-old woman was seriously injured in a crash in Hueytown on November 6th

Hueytown police and firefighters responded to the 100 block of Brooklane Drive just before 8 p.m

The deceased has been identified as Neil Damian Sayers.

According to police, Sayers was traveling south on Brooklane Drive when he crossed the lane and collided head-on with a vehicle driven by a woman traveling north.

Sayers died at the scene. The woman was taken to UAB Hospital with serious injuries.

The Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office and Hueytown Police Department are investigating the accident.
