A significant name has been added to Georgian football’s injury report

When it comes to injury numbers, the situation in Georgian football is slowly but surely starting to improve. Sure, it’s still not as great as most would hope, but it’s a lot better than other teams around the country. That includes Georgia’s next opponent, Ole Miss, whose injury report surprisingly contains 29 names.

Unfortunately for Georgia, they have a new name added to their injury report on Thursday, and that’s someone no one wants to see added.

Starting right guard Micah Morris was added to the Bulldogs’ injury report and listed as “questionable” for UGA’s upcoming game against Ole Miss. This is important news as Morris has been the starting right guard for the last five games.

Morris was Tate Ratledge’s replacement after he suffered an ankle injury during the Kentucky game, and Morris has done an excellent job since taking over.

The only positive thing about Georgia’s injury report is that Ratledge is not listed. So if Morris can’t leave, Ratledge should be able to step back in as the starting guard. But it’s time for Georgia to have both players fully available. They are both great players, so the depth they would both bring is something Georgia desperately needs.

It’s unclear when Morris suffered this injury, as not much was said about his status before Thursday. Maybe he got this injury in training, but at the end of the day it doesn’t matter. The important thing is that he gets fully healthy again soon, and hopefully in time for Georgia’s game against the RebelsM on Saturday.
