ABC News’ Will Reeve Speaks Out After His Engagement to Amanda Dubin: ‘We’re Thrilled’

ABC News’ Will Reeve is engaged!

The journalist popped the question to his girlfriend of two years, Amanda Dubin, on Friday night in New York City, Good Morning America confirmed.

“We are thrilled. We couldn’t be happier,” Reeve said on “GMA” Monday morning.

“I had a comprehensive plan. “It went perfectly and now we can just enjoy being engaged and planning a wedding,” the ABC News correspondent continued, adding, “I’m the luckiest man in the world. Thank you for all of this.” love you showed.

The couple shared the happy news in a joint post on Instagram with photos from the special moment.

In one photo, Reeve knelt and asked Dubin for her hand in marriage. Other images showed an intimate gathering with the couple’s close friends and family, as well as a beautiful floral and candle display with views of the Manhattan skyline and the Empire State Building.

The post also includes photos of Reeve and his new fiancée kissing and hugging in celebration of the milestone.

“We 🤍,” the caption of the post read.

Reeves’ ABC News colleagues flocked to the post’s comments to congratulate the couple.

“GO WILL. YAY AMANDA!! We are sooo happy for you both!!!!❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️,” wrote Lara Spencer, a “GMA” co-host.

Gio Benitez, another “GMA” co-host, commented, “Oh my god, this makes me SO happy!! Congratulations you two wonderful souls!!! 😍.”

Meanwhile, Chief Meteorologist Ginger Zee added: “Hooray! 👏👏👏.”

Before their engagement, the couple dated for two years and were regularly featured on each other’s Instagram accounts.

Reeve paid tribute to Dubin on her birthday in April 2023, sharing a selfie of the couple with the Eiffel Tower in the background.

“Paris stands for birthdays. Happiest to @amandadubin ❤️,” he wrote in the caption at the time.

In June of this year, Dubin celebrated Reeve’s birthday by posting a carousel of photos of her and Reeve together with the caption, “Happy birthday to my favorite person 🥰😍🤩☺️😄💛😚🥳.”
