Ariana Grande looks like the chicest book nerd ever in a baggy Loewe outfit

It’s fair to say that Ariana Grande identifies more as a theater nerd, but when she was photographed heading to Sydney airport yesterday she looked more like the president of the eccentric book club. Still, she managed to tie everything into her overarching fashion theme Evil Press tour so far with some “Glinda” pink.

She started her look with a loose Loewe button-down dress (pink, of course) and even baggier pants. But it was Grande’s choice of accessories that stood out. Grande slipped into a sparkly pair of Loewe ‘Toy’ pumps with an almond toe and cartoonish tang heel. To store all of her travel essentials, Grande slung the brand’s popular ‘Squeeze’ bag over her shoulder. But unlike the popular leather versions, Grande’s bag was embroidered with bright sequins in the shape of fruits and vegetables.

Grande’s airport look — from the bubblegum pink blouse to the dreamy accessories — gave her an elevated touch Evil Press style. It was almost as if Glinda was keeping up with the ins and outs of Paris Fashion Week in her free time.

On Monday, Grande brought a piece of Manhattan’s Lower East Side with her to the film’s photo shoot in Sydney. She wore a playful bow-trimmed two-piece from downtown brand Bode. Like her airport moment, this outfit was less about perfectly channeling Glinda and more about incorporating parts of the beloved character into her personal style.

At the film’s first major premiere the day before, Grande made a bold, eye-catching statement in a custom Vivienne Westwood confection. Her dress was inspired by an outfit worn by her colleague Glinda Billie Burke during the Wizard of Oz in 1939.

It looks like Grande’s three looks spell out how she’ll tackle the rest of her Evil Press tour. There was the great M-Method moment courtesy of Vivienne Westwood, her cool Bode Girl set and her more demure, literal Loewe Airport cut.
