Beyoncé continues to make history with her acclaimed album 2024. COWBOY CARTERthe stirring odyssey through country music that has now garnered 11 nominations at the 2025 Grammy Awards.

Although Beyoncé was completely shut out of the 2024 CMA Awards and didn’t even receive a nomination, she was nominated in cross-genre categories at the 2025 Grammy Awards, scheduled to be celebrated on February 2. In addition to the prestigious Song of the Year, Record of the Year and Album of the Year categories, songs from COWBOY CARTER landed in the Country, Pop, Americana and Melodic Rap categories. With this round of nominations, Beyoncé officially becomes the most nominated artist in Grammy Awards history, with 99 awards in her storied career. COWBOY CARTER is just behind Michael Jackson’s record thrillerwho received twelve nominations at the 1984 Grammy Awards. 11 nominations are also the most a woman has ever received in a single year at the Grammys.

Miley Cyrus, who was nominated in the Best Country Duo category alongside Beyoncé for their track “II MOST WANTED,” celebrated the news by saying, “Shotgun Riders Forever!” I love you Beyoncé, congratulations on everything your deserved nominations!”
